Connect UX metics to business KPIs
I work in a cross-disciplinary team. My role is to derive insight from discovery researches and user tests in engage area and make product decisions collaboratively with stakeholders.
Design process
The design process always build around questions and it adopts based on the objectives
❶ Asking questions
about the problems we’re trying to solve for the users and devise objectives
❷ Collect relevant information
through exploratory user research and generative research methods
❸ Synthesis user's behaviours
into coherent problem statements, change statements and hypothesis
❹ Evaluate possible solutions
with prototypes based on predetermined criteria and UX measurements
❺ Iterate on design solution
that I found to be the best fit for what the objectives are
❻ Test again...

Bit of my background
Originally from Hong Kong. I moved to the UK in 2013 where I worked as an interaction designer at Alive and visiting lecturer at Birmingham City University.
I relocated to Berlin in summer 2017 and joined several companies' founding team as a product designer. Since 2019 I've been working at SumUp. My team primarily focuses on customer support features to ensure merchants can make transactions across SumUp products without friction.
